When Aaron and Julie contacted us about photographing their elopement, we were so excited. Their plans were to go on an adventure in Asheville at Craggy Gardens and take us along and capture some intimate photos before heading to the courthouse to get married. The night before we found out some bad news that a long stretch of the Blue Ridge Parkway was closed and there was no way to get to Craggy Gardens. They quickly came up with a new plan of staying close to home and doing their photos at Old Salem. We met them and two people who are close to them shortly after sunrise. The elopement was amazing!! The lighting was perfect and the fact that they were eating cake and popping champagne that early in the morning made it even more unique.
