This is a pretty special post to us because this beautiful bride is our niece Chelsea. I (Joey) can still remember the day that we got the call that Chelsea was born. I was with my Dad in Austin, Texas at a ball tournament. She was the first grandchild of the family and was the only one for quite a long time. It is amazing to see the beautiful woman that she has become. It seems like only yesterday she was calling me “Uncle Jody”. When we met Dalton, we knew that he was the right one for Chelsea. He fit into the family so well and was one of us from the start.
The wedding weekend from beginning to end was amazing. The weekend started off with the rehearsal and the rehearsal dinner. For the dinner we headed downtown Knoxville for pizza and beer with the family and their closest friends. There were many heartfelt toasts and even a little karaoke performance from the bride and her bestie. The ladies got ready in a loft downtown that had plenty of space to hang out and have some quality time together before the festivities of the day began. The Holston Hills Country Club was such a beautiful venue. From the clubhouse to the scenery of the golf course, everything was absolutely picture perfect.
